What is euphonic?
euphonic is a five-piece Boston-based band. euphonic is interested in the fusion of traditional elements of rock with the new techniques of electronic music. Some of the commercially successful bands that have influenced euphonic include Soul Coughing, Beck, The Crystal Method, and Radiohead.
euphonic has been together for about a year and a half.
Who is euphonic?
Brian McGuire (bass) Sensitive and soft-spoken, Brian McGuire has made a life-long study of the ancient Chinese art of Feng Shui.
Doug Marttila (keys) Raised by wolves, Doug now lives in Boston.
Ted Pyne (guitar) Raised by his parents, Ted now lives in Cambridge.
Patrick Nelson (vocals) Raised by cormorants, Patrick is usually hungry and aggressive.
Scott Rogers (drums) Discovered among the reeds of the Woodwind department of Berklee, swaddled in Rush paraphernalia, Scott brings his love of samba rhythms, jazz history and long hair to the band.
